Gemini in Style
Just yesterday (see link), I was pontificating about the necessity for text that can be read easily by all people. (By the way, huge thanks to Alex Wennerberg for improving Flounder's user interface 👊👏).
Now the thing with Gemini is that the presentation of your text is deferred to the browser. That means that browser developers need to pay attention to the presentation of the Gemini sites providing, (just suggestions):
- A default, nice and readable style (CSS?) template, and
- Some simple way for the user to configure it to their needs, preferences or even whims.
Things that would need to be covered (in some random order):
- Font size, family and weight
- Colors and contrast
- How to tell headers and links from regular text.
- Lists
Have a grand day,
Miguel
